🛡️ Win or Refund Guarantee — Individual Plans

Step 1: Subscribe to any paid individual plan (Starter $14.99/mo, Pro Monthly $39.99/mo, Pro Annual $299/yr, or Lifetime $599)

Step 2: Submit exactly 2 complete grant applications within 3 months using our AI tools — no more, no fewer

Step 3: If neither wins funding AND you've used ≤20% of your plan's AI credits → Request full refund within 30 days

Strict Limits: Submitting more than 2 applications automatically voids this guarantee — each additional application consumes significant AI credits (drafting, scoring, analysis), constituting delivery of substantial service value. You retain all content; no refund is available once you have exceeded the 2-application limit or the 20% credit threshold. Credit top-up purchases have a separate 48-hour grace period — see Section 6.

📋 Success Commitment — Team & Institutional Plans

Team ($99/mo) and Institutional ($499/mo) subscribers receive a Success Commitment instead of cash refund: if your team submits the required minimum applications (3 for Team, 5 for Institutional) and none win funding, we credit your next year of subscription free.

No Cash Refunds for Team Plans: Once any AI credits are consumed by any team member, cash refunds are not available. The Success Commitment (free renewal year) applies instead, as the shared AI service has been delivered across multiple seats.

📄 AI Content License — What You're Buying

You're purchasing a non-exclusive, perpetual, irrevocable license to use AI-generated content — not ownership of the underlying AI systems or methodologies. Grant Search US retains IP rights in its AI systems and prompt engineering. Issuance of a refund does NOT revoke your license to content already generated — you may continue using all AI-generated content even after a refund is issued. This license survives account closure and refund issuance.

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the Grant Search US Guarantee refund, all of the following conditions must be met:

1. Active Paid Subscription

You must maintain an active, paid Grant Search US subscription (Starter, Pro Monthly, Pro Annual, or Lifetime plan). Free plan users do not qualify. Trial periods do not qualify. Team and Institutional plan subscribers qualify for the Success Commitment (credit-based), not the cash refund guarantee.

2. AI Credit Usage Threshold (Individual Plans)

For individual plan refunds: you must have consumed 20% or fewer of your plan's total AI credits at the time of the refund request. If you have used more than 20% of your credits — meaning the AI has substantively drafted, analyzed, or generated content for you — the guarantee is void. Rationale: AI-generated narratives, answers, and analyses constitute delivery of the service. You retain all content regardless of outcome; a refund cannot be issued when the primary value (AI-assisted drafting) has already been delivered and retained.

3. Team Plan Credit Rule (Team & Institutional)

Team and Institutional plan subscribers do not qualify for a cash refund once any AI credits have been consumed by any seat member. There is no percentage threshold for team plans — any credit usage by any team member triggers the Success Commitment (free renewal year) in lieu of cash. The minimum application threshold (3 for Team, 5 for Institutional) must be met within 12 months of subscription activation. This is due to the substantially higher shared AI credit pool across multiple seats, meaning the service delivery value far exceeds any individual plan.

4. Exact Application Count — Individual Plans

Individual plans: you must submit EXACTLY 2 complete grant applications within 3 months of subscription activation — not 1, not 3, not 4. Submitting fewer than 2 means insufficient platform usage to qualify. Submitting more than 2 automatically voids the guarantee entirely, because each additional application consumes AI drafting, scoring, analysis, and revision credits that constitute substantive delivery of the service. There is no partial credit — exceeding 2 applications means the refund is permanently forfeited. Team plans: exactly 3 applications. Institutional plans: exactly 5 applications.

5. Eligible Grant Sources

Applications must be submitted to grants listed in the Grant Search US database or identified through our platform (federal, state, foundation, corporate, or other legitimate funding sources). Applications to ineligible sources do not count.

6. No Awards Within 3 Months

Neither of the two applications can result in funding being awarded within 3 months of the application submission date. A "win" means official notification from the grantor that funding has been granted.

7. Timely Refund Request

Refund requests must be submitted within 30 days of the final application decision (denial or the 3-month anniversary, whichever comes first) and include all documentation outlined in the "Refund Request Process" section.

Complete Application Requirements

For an application to count toward the guarantee, it must meet ALL of these standards:

Full Documentation Submission

The application must have been submitted in its entirety to the grant-making organization using official application channels (grant portal, online form, email, or mail as specified by the grantor). Incomplete, draft, or partial submissions do not qualify.

Identical Records & Attachments

All documents, narratives, and attachments submitted to the grant committee must be the same records stored in Grant Search US (same versions, no retroactive edits after submission). If multiple versions exist, the version officially submitted to the grantor must be documented.

Applicant Identity Consistency

The applicant listed on the Grant Search US application must match exactly the applicant name/entity on the submitted grant application to the funding source. No name changes, entity changes, or third-party proxies between the platform record and the official submission.

Grant Search US AI Tools Usage

The application must have been drafted, edited, or enhanced using Grant Search US AI tools (e.g., narrative drafting, content assistant, proposal evaluator). Applications created entirely outside our platform do not qualify.

No Ineligible Modifications

Applications may not have been altered between Grant Search US submission and official submission in ways that materially change the substance, scope, or key claims (minor grammar/style fixes are acceptable).

Grant Requirements Compliance

The application must comply with all stated eligibility, formatting, and submission requirements of the specific grant opportunity. Grant Search US is not responsible for applications that fail to meet grantor requirements.

Exclusions & Limitations

The Grant Search US Guarantee does NOT apply to:

×Free plan subscriptions
×Individual plan refunds where more than 20% of plan AI credits have been consumed — service has been substantively delivered and refund is permanently forfeited
×Situations where more than 2 applications were submitted under an individual plan — exceeding the limit voids the guarantee with no exceptions
×Team and Institutional plan cash refunds once any AI credits are consumed by any seat member (Success Commitment credit applies instead)
×Any refund request where AI-generated content (narratives, answers, analyses) was downloaded or submitted to a funder, regardless of credit percentage
×Applications submitted before or after the 3-month guarantee window
×Applications to grants not listed in Grant Search US database without prior written approval
×Multi-year grants where only partial funding was received in year one
×Grants where funding was contingent on conditions the applicant failed to meet
×Applications that were rejected due to ineligibility discovered after submission
×Grants withdrawn or cancelled by the grantor
×Applications submitted to fraudulent, non-existent, or scam funding sources
×Applications created entirely without Grant Search US AI tools
×Refund requests submitted more than 30 days after application decision
×Applications modified materially after official submission to the grantor
×Subscription cancellations or downgrades (refund applies to current plan only)
×Grants where applicant explicitly declined awarded funding
×Applications by individuals ineligible for the specific grant (e.g., wrong age, location, status)
×Grants where funding amount awarded was less than claimed (e.g., requesting $50K, awarded $20K, if claimed as "win")
×Administrative or technical errors by the applicant (e.g., missing deadline)
×Credit top-up purchases — refundable within 48 hours of purchase if no credits have been spent; non-refundable once any credits from the top-up have been used
×Lifetime plan purchases — refundable within 48 hours of purchase if zero credits have been used; non-refundable once any credit is consumed (the Win or Refund Guarantee does NOT apply to Lifetime)
×First Application Bundle — refundable within 48 hours of purchase if zero credits used and no add-on activated; non-refundable once any credit is consumed or add-on is activated
×Power Pack add-ons (Winning Analyzer, Expert Review Panel, AI Final Rewrite) — refundable within 48 hours if not activated on any application; non-refundable once activated
×Any case where AI-generated application content was retained after a refund claim — continued use of Grant Search US-generated materials post-refund-request constitutes breach of Terms

Refund Request Process & Timeline

Step 1: Gather Documentation

Within 30 days of the final application decision, compile: (a) Official denial/rejection letter from the grantor, (b) Grant Search US application export or screenshots showing the application record, (c) Proof of submission (email confirmation, portal receipt, tracking number), (d) Copy of the official application submitted to the grantor.

Step 2: Submit Refund Request

Contact us via the Support page with subject/topic "Guarantee Refund Request" and include: your account email, the two grant titles/sources, and all documentation. Requests must be submitted within 30 days of the final decision.

Step 3: Verification Review

Grant Search US support will verify that all eligibility criteria are met within 10 business days. We may request additional documentation or clarification. False or misleading claims will result in refund denial and possible account suspension.

Step 4: Refund or Credit Issuance

Individual plans: approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–7 business days. Team & Institutional plans: approved Success Commitment credits are applied to your account as a free renewal year, activated within 5 business days of approval.

Defining a "Win" (Funded Application)

A grant application counts as "won" if:

  • ✓ The grantor officially notifies the applicant that funding has been awarded
  • ✓ The applicant receives confirmation (email, official letter, portal notification) of funding approval
  • ✓ The funding amount is at least 50% of the amount requested in the application (if $50K requested, $25K+ awarded = win)
  • ✓ The applicant has not explicitly declined the awarded funding

A grant application does NOT count as "won" if:

  • ✗ The applicant is waitlisted or placed on a "pending" list (must be final approval)
  • ✗ Funding is awarded but contingent on conditions the applicant cannot meet
  • ✗ The grantor offers less than 50% of the requested amount (e.g., $20K awarded on $100K request)
  • ✗ The applicant declines the awarded funding
  • ✗ The award is rescinded before funds are disbursed

Liability Limits & Disputes

Grant Search US Disclaimers

Grant Search US provides grant discovery and AI-assisted drafting tools for informational purposes only. We do not guarantee grant awards, match quality, or application success. Grant decisions are entirely at the discretion of the funding organization. The guarantee applies only to our platform's functionality and the refund policy outlined herein.

No Liability for Grantor Decisions

Grant Search US is not responsible for: grant rejections, funding delays, changed criteria, withdrawn grants, or any decision made by a funding organization. Our refund applies only if the application was submitted correctly and the grantor denies funding.

Fraud & Misrepresentation

If Grant Search US determines that a refund claim contains false information, misleading documentation, or fraudulent submission, the refund will be denied, and the account may be suspended indefinitely. Grant Search US reserves the right to pursue legal action for fraud.

Dispute Resolution

Disputes regarding guarantee eligibility will be reviewed by Grant Search US's support team. If unresolved, disputes will be subject to binding individual arbitration under the American Arbitration Association (AAA) Consumer Arbitration Rules, as described in Section 11 of our Terms & Conditions. By submitting a refund request under this guarantee, you agree to this dispute resolution process. You agree not to initiate chargebacks or payment processor disputes for denied refund claims while an arbitration or negotiation process is ongoing — doing so may result in permanent account suspension.

Chargeback Policy

By purchasing any Grant Search US subscription, you acknowledge that our guarantee process described herein is the exclusive remedy for dissatisfaction with the Services. Initiating a chargeback or payment reversal with your bank or payment processor without first completing the guarantee request process constitutes a breach of these Terms. Grant Search US reserves the right to contest any chargeback with full documentation and to suspend or permanently ban accounts that initiate chargebacks in bad faith.

Refund Cap & One-Time Purchase Policies

The maximum refund issued under the Win or Refund Guarantee is limited to the subscription fees paid during the 3-month guarantee period. One-time purchases (Lifetime, First Application Bundle, credit top-up packs, and Power Pack add-ons) are NOT covered by the Win or Refund Guarantee — each has a separate 48-hour grace period: if zero credits/features have been used, you may request a full refund within 48 hours of purchase by contacting our support team with your purchase date and account email. Once any credit is consumed or any add-on is activated, the purchase is non-refundable, as the AI service capacity has been delivered. For individual subscription plans: consuming more than 20% of plan credits voids the refund guarantee entirely, as the AI service has been substantively delivered.

AI Content License & Retention Policy

AI-generated content (narratives, answers, analyses, budget recommendations, LOI drafts, and all other outputs) produced through Grant Search US tools is licensed to you for use — it is not sold to you as outright property. Grant Search US retains the underlying intellectual property in its AI systems, prompts, and methodologies. Upon a successful refund: you agree to discontinue use of Grant Search US-generated application materials for grant submissions. Continued use of AI-generated content after a cash refund has been issued constitutes breach of these Terms and may result in clawback of the refund and account suspension.

Changes to This Policy

Grant Search US may update this guarantee policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Customers on active subscriptions are bound by the policy terms in effect on the date of their subscription activation. Policy changes do not retroactively apply to existing subscribers during their current billing period.

If you have questions about whether the guarantee applies to your subscription, contact our support team.
